Eating @ Loha's Cafe
11:00 AMThis is one of my most favourite restaurant for Taiwanese food. For this restaurant, I find that the popcorn chicken is one of the best executed dishes. I have been following this restaurant for many years. It started long ago in the Time Square plaza on Hwy 7 and eventually moved to FMP (First Markham Place). Parking is always bad in the plaza (nothing the restaurant can do).
My work colleagues and I haven't visited the restaurants in months. We decided it was time to revisit this place again. To our surprise, they actually renovated inside. The walls were new again with their logos and colours. All the chairs have been updated with white chair that allows 180 degree rotations. The sofa against the edges of the wall have been a new wall divider to give extra private space.

Price: $10 per person
Pros:
- plenty of seating (until it becomes really packed at 1pm lunch)
- wide section of Taiwanese meals options
Cons:
- the bubble tea is okay but not the greatest
