Eating @ Fav Cafe
8:05 AMI heard of this Hong Kong (HK) style cafe a few times from work colleagues and other friends. A work colleague and I decided it was time to try something new close to our workplace.
Food Rating: 4/5
Service: 3/5
Atmosphere:
The restaurant was very narrow and seats about ~30 max seats. There was some interesting modern style poster art on the walls. The place was clean. We were lucky to get a table near the window. After this moment, a long line up appeared outside of the restaurant.
Parking in this plaza was horrible at lunch times! My suggestion is to come earlier before 12 pm for lunch service!
Service:
We waited about 20 minutes for our food. During this time, the servers were busy with cleaning tables and taking food orders.
Food Comments:
My colleague and I ordered the Nasi Goreng with Chicken. The fried rice was delicious with lots of texture and flavours (of salted fish and dried scallop). The crispy chicken was good as well with the mouthwatering skin. The milk tea came with the meal as well and it was average tasting compared to other Hong Kong style cafes.
Would I come back here? Yes!
