Eating @ Sweet Note Desserts
7:21 AMThis was an old visit from the past with some old friends back in 2015 after a dinner meal. A very small dessert shop that serves someone with a sweet tooth.
Food:
Souffle is made of many ingredients cooked to a puree, thickened with egg yolks and with stiffly egg whites folded in, poured into ramekins, and finally baked. Souffles are both simple and complex. An ideal souffle should have a melting texture, with a barely cooked and soft, creamy center. It will look light and high, and stand for at least two or three minutes without deflating. Eating souffle should be like eating a cloud.
Their version was great. Recommend getting guava sauce with it. If ordering the souffle, just make sure you have enough time to wait at least 40 minutes for it!
Atmosphere and Location:
This cute little shop fits about 7 café tables. This restaurant is in the Commerce Gate plaza on Hwy 7 and Commerce Valley Drive West. There's a lot of restaurants and bubble tea shops. Parking can be crazy if you get there after 7 at night, or lunch time everyday. There's a very large parking lot but it fills up fast. Some people don't realize, but there's also underground parking.
