This was a new restaurant opening near Finch and Midland area in Toronto called Chili Legend. Dear found this place on YorkBBS website and decided we should give it a try. The store hours were kind of strange but wife said it's normal for people who do late night activities such as singing and wanted some late late grub eating.

We arrived by 6pm and the restaurant was getting filled people (mostly families). Everything on the menu was labelled hot with a chili label ("not surprising"). For ordering, we decided to limit ourselves to 2 items. Our daughter had her own food items from home.

Comments about the Food:

• the spicy fish fillet was very good. The hottest/spiciness grows gradually until you are all sweating at the end. It was sweet but very oily. I always wondered if they would reuse all that chili peppers and peppercorns. It seems like a waste to throw after the meal...

Fish Fillet with lots of dry chilis, peppercorns and numbing spice. Bean sprouts can be found at the bottom of the bowl in this heavy oil dish.
