Eating Lobster Rolls @ Island Favorites (Prince Edward Island - PEI)

When you visit Prince Edward Island (PEI), you can expect to find lobster almost anywhere. For this trip planning event, we were going to the most famous beach on the island - Cavendish Beach. There weren't many attractions or restaurants in the area. From research and locals, this restaurant called Island Favorites was very popular and decided to give this place a visit for lunch before heading off to visit the beach.

Atmosphere:
Very small cafe/restaurant store with very limited seating (10-15). The front door was mostly open with breeze from the sea coming in. The place looked old with faded paint.

Food Comments:
Their menu was exclusive to lobster rolls only with different variations. In addition, they had lobster soup as well. The pricing was kind of expensive ($15 and up) but I kind of expected that for it's location in Cavendish and eating lobster ...

On the two occasions we visited, we ordered:

• Captain's Roll - original lobster roll with PEI lobster with mayo and crispy diced celery upon a toasted New England style Roll - amazing to get 
• Greenhorn's Roll - PEI lobster with mayo, fresh Dill, chives with New England style Roll - never had this type but the flavours were a great combination
• First Mate's Roll - simple PEI lobster and butter with the Roll - very simple combination but works well
• Deck Hand Roll - PEI lobster with garlic, lemon, aioli and Roll - found this so so combination
• Lobster Chowder - prepared with chucks of PEI lobster, scallops, and haddock with homemade biscuit - this was the best soup ever - too bad the portions were small :(

Would I come back? Yes.
