Slurping @ Mei Nung Beef Noodle House

This is one of my most favourite place in Toronto if you want authentic Taiwanese beef noodle soup and stinky tofu. House made noodles are always great and bowls of beef noodle come with bountiful piles of perfectly stewed meat and pickled vegetables. Restaurant is a bit small and packs up fast for lunch but turnover is quick. Parking is a pain but expected at First Markham.

Pros:

• free wifi
• the deep fried stinky tofu taste great with crispy texture on the outside and soft tofu inside with the sauces
• the beef noodle dish is great
• texture of the noodles are balance between soft and hard
• soup base is amazing hearty and not overall salty

Cons:

• could have to wait sometimes since the place isn't that big and very popular with the asian crowds
